I wanted this Norman Reedus game, not the Norman Reedus game we're getting.

Even as a tiny stand alone horror game this is a masterpiece. Konami is like a comic book villain at this point.

I stupidly left getting the PS4 version too late, so rating the Unreal engine recreation. The visuals, atmosphere and audio design are top-notch. The obtuseness of how to proceed at some points eventually led to some frustration, which is always a death sentence for fear. A full game of this without sections I'd get stuck on would've been superb.

This playable teaser is the best horror video game ever made, even all the idiosyncrasies about how to "beat" it considered. P.T. takes the mantra of less is more to the extreme and back, giving agonizingly little detail that enhances the aura of this game's lost potential and subtly hints at larger lore details that would never be realized. Keeping with the less is more mantra, P.T. keeps its scares at a minimum in number for maximum of effect and proves that not knowing is terrifying.
