Basically a retread of Sands of Time, but lacking in the interesting platforming sections or the cool atmosphere. The water freeze mechanic was pretty dull and added little more to the platforming than an extra button press. This wouldn't be so bad if the level design wasn't so boring and uninteresting. Even worse, the combat manages to be shittier than SoT somehow, seemingly taking design cues from the Arkham games (which is a bad thing). This is a title that is both forgettable and pointless.

This is the first Prince of Persia game I've played, and I really enjoyed it. I think the platforming mechanics are fantastic. I think there could be more done in terms of storytelling, and the last level is just incredibly frustrating, but it was an enjoyable enough experience for an older game.
