Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness

I'm afraid I have to knock my score down a little for the game's sheer frustrating glitchiness. But overall it's a fun adventure with a gothic horror Transylvanian vibe and a forest exploration feeling much more in line with the original Quest for Glory than its first two sequels. Despite its largely comedic vibe exploring the castle was genuinely quite spooky too.

This is the pinnacle of point-and-click adventure gaming. It's funny, creepy, beautiful, engaging ... If you're a horror aficionado, you'll get a special kick out of it. What a shame about how buggy it is!
