Although marks have to be given for at least attempting something new, a good initial concept is besmirched by subpar execution and what eventually starts to feel like lazy writing masquerading as mystery. The initial third of the game seems to be setting off well, with an excellent atmosphere and the first few death scenes give a tantalising hint of how you will purportedly unravel the identity of the whole crew. However, this quickly becomes mired in several UI / UX choices that seem designed - Full Review

Understanding the game mechanics was quite the learning curve but after that it grew on me.

I love this game - probably the best puzzle game I’ve ever played. The core mechanic of the diary is just so clever and everything feels fair. The art style even adds to it. I love the music, and you better if you’re going to hear it on a loop for this long. I think the only thing that holds this back from being a 10 is that the story sort of falls flat at the end. It’s a little bit anti-climactic. I really hope they make a sequel or something to this.

The game is a bit obtuse in terms of figuring out certain names which went straight into trial and error at times, but this game is really cool in that it'll encourage you to go through all the setpieces multiple times to figure out the pieces you missed and the game respects you enough to not handhold you towards any specific conclusion. It's unfortunate the narrative was lacking since the cast is superficial and the twists it pulls is predictable tripe. Cool visual style, at least.

A good game with somewhat limited gameplay. You basically interpret about 40 tableaux while looking for clues, and as you enter your conclusions, the game will confirm them in groups of three until all your conclusions are correct. It's fun enough to play, but I don't see anything great in it.

It's hard to be convinced at the beginning, but that's one of those games, without realizing it is dragging you into its story, then you can't stop and at the end you feel lucky to be part of it.

best dedective game of all time. this game is smarter than you, and you'll agree with this statement once you start playing it. its visuals are like 3d paintings and its musics are still playing in my mind.
