Thumper

Menacing music. Musical violence.

This tale of a beetle out to kill God through the unlikely means of fast gliding and polyrhythmic thumping is a very singular game which will either dig its chrome pincers deep into your brain or leave you baffled and annoyed. Needless to say, I'm in the former camp.

I played this in VR, not sure if that's affecting my opinion at all. The visuals and music were really cool but it was sometimes difficult to control precisely or read (maybe a Vive issue?). Overall I like it but don't enjoy playing it quite as much as some things that play similarly (ie Bit.Trip Runner).
