I could never get the hang of this game and I think I just prefer shooters with more emphasis on mobility, but this is still very good. There's cool variety in map design which creates a lot of neat chokepoints with how a player can both navigate and influence space. Intel is a much bigger factor in this game compared to others, which creates a lot of interesting dynamics between players both within your team and out of it. A unique shooter that deserves the praise it gets!

I haven't played more than a couple of hours, but my impression is that the game is quite solid.

This is what a team fps should be. There is always new content every month and a half or so with 2 new operators coming out every 3 months. Every operator has a unique gadget such as a hologram, toxic mines, a thermal scope or a hack that sets off the operators cellphones. The game encourages team work on all maps where you only have 3 minutes to complete the objective or kill the entire enemy team. If you like lore this game has tones. Just remember keep calm and breach and clear.

I miss old Rainbow Six. The kind with a plot and campaign

They've been supporting it a lot since launch so I'm sure it got even better but when I played it it was a really cool idea that couldn't keep me hooked because there wasn't a whole lot there. Still gets a lot of love because it did something neat with multiplayer.
