Pro Skater 3 is the best of the "pro skater" franchise. Not including the spin-offs. The graphics are improved, the tricks are still fun, all of the levels offer something new and interesting and the soundtrack is fantastic.

First one's better, second one's got a better soundtrack, this one's got better levels kinda.

Every game in the Pro Skater series managed to iterate the game in tiny ways which made the entire game play differently. This is no exception. The level design is pretty great, the moves are still fun and it plays extremely well.

Adds reverting while removing the big drop (which was always a stupid mechanic). The game's formula hasn't changed much but here we see all the core mechanics in place which makes this game and its future iterations great. It also features some cool level gimmicks where stages get altered based on specific feats. While future games do add mechanics that improve the game, one can appreciate this title for lacking a lot of the shitty gimmicks future titles would overuse.

I had no interest in skateboarding and got this randomly as a gift. I became obsessed with it as it was very fun. I even went to see some skateboard exhibition thing involving Tony Hawk they put on after an arena football game.

Some nice improvements from the last version, but I had started to burn myself out on the THPS games by this point.

If I even look at a skateboard I fall over.
