Trek to Yomi

A solid indie effort. Needs more polish to really shine.

Visually gorgeous but completely unenjoyable on the gameplay side of things. Needed major mechanical refinement to not let down the potential of the Kurosawa-esque visual aesthetic.

I don't think I'm much of a fan of the B&W visuals. I find it hard to see things, especially with the shifting perspectives and whatnot. I thought the combat would feel satisfying throughout but it gets a little tedious. Areas go on too long. Decent story, not too long. Difficulty modifier is just lazy, more enemies. They put most of the focus on story/visuals, didn't craft an amazing game. Still kinda fun though.
