easily could be 90~95 when exploring, but bog down by obnoxious boss fights, camera fighting against you, boss legs blocking your way, boss speed is way faster than you can barely get one hit in. Best way to beat the boss is hope for a good RNG pattern and exploit the shit out of it. The green bar should be in the center of the screen as it's hard to know how much you have left when in action. Too late to find out God mode and unlimited stamina exist. Saw the true ending on utube and I like it.

The fascinating thing about gaming these days is experiencing the plethora of puzzle-solving platformers made by people who grew up on Zelda. That franchise has had immeasurable impact on the industry. We are still playing and talking about Zelda clones like Tunic. Unfortunately, Tunic's difficulty too often feels artificially inflated when battling enemies, and the mystery never really grabbed me.

The 'mstery' just leads to me not knowing what's going on and never really being sure if I'm going the right way. Top that with tedious, frustrating combat, and it's no longer fun.

I like the sense of mystery and discovery, and I enjoy the novel use of a fictional language to obscure information. The combat is kind of frustrating, which says a lot given that I'm playing this alongside Elden Ring and finding the latter easier to handle.
