Wasteland 2

made with considerable care, not in the same way as a fine sculptor sculpts her sculptures, but rather in the same way as your aunt's crochet circle makes christmas owl decorations. i believe this trailer for wasteland 3 will clarify the distinction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibi4iAfYwf8

WL2 isn't terrible, but it's terribly inconsistent. Some art design is much worse than the rest, some areas are much worse than others. Character descriptions ("red hair") frequently don't match the character portrait (bald). I found the combat to be a bit too shallow and repetitive, and the early areas were too boring and time-wasty compared to the later, better parts. The timers for using skills are also far too long, but that can be modded out. Weapon stripping is still bugged.

Would be great if it wasn't so completely broken on a technical level. Even the "director's cut" is horribly buggy and clunky

What I remember most about this game is that I could make my male character wear women's clothing, which I appreciated being able to do. The preceding sentence should tell you just how unmemorable the rest of the game is. 'Most every part of this game has been done better elsewhere.
