Action, Adventure
All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems.

It's an OK game. There are some interesting elements added in like the use of hacking to escape the cops or take out enemies in a stealthy fashion but its nothing that hasnt been done better in other games. The story is just, ok again I guess. The multi player feels a bit tacked on and annoying more than anything which is a shame because it feels as though they could have got more out of it. Plat difficulty - 5/10 - damn drinking side quests.

The game was fun and had a some what interesting story, but the protagonist is not very charismatic even though his reasons are interesting. Finally the game did not not look the same as the game trailer but that wasn't too big of a concern to me but it matters to other people.

Emblematic of Ubisoft in the 2010s: Heaps of promise and hype thrown away on an uninspired game that cares more about giving you 70 hours of side quests than about grabbing you with a story worth playing.

You can't release your metropolitan sandbox game after GTA V and have your cars handle like cardboard boxes. Everything about this consistently screamed blandness and I kept waiting, waiting, waiting for it to suck me in with some clever idea or mechanic. Suffice it to say that never happened.

This was a very interesting concept which wasn't bad in execution but the driving sections suck and I couldn't manage to get the hang of one driving mission which I kept failing and I couldn't progress and I haven't gone back to it since so I've probably missed out on half the main storyline.

Maybe it's because I went in with very low expectations, but I enjoyed this enough to finish it which is something I don't usually do with open world games.

I liked some of the neat big brother stuff, but it wasn't a great story or even likable character.

I actually enjoyed the story and the attention that they put into certain aspects of the game. But it is kinda just another open-world game that isn't bringing anything new to the table. It COULD have with all the hacking but it was really underused. With that said, I don't understand the hate (yes, there was some bullshit around launch), but it's also not a game worth loving. I still enjoyed it.

It had some interesting mechanics, but it also had the disadvantage of being a sandbox game set in a major American City and not being GTA...
