Bio: "When the movie is over and the movie goers have left en masse, the only sound you hear is the bang of chairs returning to their upright position"
...Then somewhere perhaps in a dark room, or in a flood of light returning to the living room, or with a flickering match in the belly of a whale, a laptop opens or a screensaver is dissolved. There I sit and expel my delight, my frustration, my indifference or any other subtle concoction of ambivalent and debilitating emotions into the glowing screen. A movie critic I am not, however like some sort of show-and-tell pride I hope that you are appeased by the little petrified morsels I have dug up from expeditions under the house. I enjoy sharing within this feedback community of other trout-people. Yell me any recommendations from your rooftop. Also, Luftwaffe.

"Took everything brilliant about Melee and tossed it in the bin. But all is not lost, Project M is where it's at."
86 40% Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (2002) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"The actual game itself didn't really do as much for me as it did for some of my friends. We would hit it up at lans from time to time along with Frozen Throne, but what really did do it for me was all the creator content. Tower defence, DoTA, survival, mazes etc. etc. Holy shit the creator content was brilliant. However I'm not sure how to fit that into the score, but since it was using the WC3 and FT engine I've adjusted the score to reflect it all the same."
80 10% Grand Theft Auto III (2001) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"Pretty cool concept, but both dated and somewhat lacking in execution. The real treat has been seeing the open world GTA series really pick up from here."
96 80% Rocket League (2015) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"Rocket cars, giant ball, soccer pitch within a dome. Flying all over the place, bumping and demo'ing others. Holy shit this is fun. So simple, so fun. Savage!"
92 70% Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"GTA: VC definitely got a lot of things right: great open world design, cool characters, brilliant voiceover and kickarse soundtrack. Good times and hard to fault."
90 50% GoldenEye 007 (1997) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"Really cool at the time, but quite dated now. Props to what it did for multiplayer FPS games down the tracks."
100 100% Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"Hands down my favourite from the GTA series. I spent countless hours just mucking around, buying every house, filling every garage, collecting every horseshoe, spraying every tag, finding every clam... man did I put some hours into this game, blasting the radio, laughing at the talkback, throwing on my custom tunes, flying around the place, looking for cool skydive spots, cruising around, busting out my bunnyhopping skills... man did I put some hours into this game."
80 30% Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"Hard to go too wrong with any of the GTA series, but the missions, story and city design in IV weren't as enjoyable to me as San Andreas. I can't my finger on exactly what seemed off, but I wasn't caught up in this game at any point and firing it up felt more like homework than zoning out at times."
96 90% Half-Life (1998) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"The game design, AI, graphics and sound were all completely brilliant for their time. Now there's an endless stream of add ons. follow ups, imitators and new games either utilising the Half-Life engine in some respects, or taking their inspiration directly from it. That's quite a legacy."
92 60% Tetris (1984) - Rated 23 Feb 2018
"A complete classic. Fond memories of it are deeply entrenched in my childhood and also in adolescence when a friend would play the theme on piano accordian... oh and also from a few weeks ago when I was watching Tetris speedruns. Timeless."
