clunky gameplay, lousy writing. the original Bioshock was revelatory, and the gameplay actually felt fresh, challenging, and most importantly, well integrated into the story. here it just feels like it's because it's a Bioshock game and nothing else. skip it.

Exceptionally pretty but hobbled by uninspired gameplay and dreadful politics.

A one-of-a-kind, intelligent and mind-bending exploration of alternate realities, religion, oppression, race and nationalism. While it has it's problems, this is one of the most original and ambitious stories I've experienced in any medium and Ken Levine deserves all the money to bring his unque imagination into reality

Although the world is great, and the gameplay is... alright, this game is a big letdown after the first Bioshock. The trippy plot twists and confusing ending... there's just not enough charm from the original game to make this one worth much. Compounded is the fact that the original gameplay trailers for the game are incredibly misleading, as they scrapped what was looking like an incredible game for this, altogether mediocre experience.

It's like Infamous with an anti-Libertarian agenda. The gameplay and story have about as much to do with each other as Australia and Pluto.

A very tepid game that relied on marketing and shock-value to sell itself. Don't let the hype fool you: there is no great story about racism, nationalism, or religious extremism to be found here. It is all wiped away by a contrived story that seems to think that shocking is smart. It's gameplay is not great either. It combines several different shooter ideas without understanding the strengths of any of them. It has decent visuals which are well-stylized, that's all I can honestly praise.

The story is phenomenal. Great twist. Left me feeling empty after completing the game. The gameplay is not that fun. The constant excessive fights makes it boring overtime.

I've only seen it as a playthrough but it was a pretty game with an original setting and lore and plot. Sure, it has elements of the first Bioshock, but they worked it well enough to still feel fresh. The commentaries too were strong.

Wonderful to look at and there are some exciting game mechanics, the story is so encompassing it's often overwhelming.

It's not as scary as the first or even the second, so while those go for more of a horror FPS, this is more of a straight-forward shooter... and it succeeds as such. It also has a mindfuck ending that is one of the finest endings in video game history.

Bioshock Infinite is grand. Just grand. It took excellent gameplay mechanics and transported them into an equally, if not better-utilized, world. And the world truly is something else. I found it more interesting than the dark underwater city, and the same goes for the story. When the twists come, they're some of the most dramatic and engaging story turns I've ever experienced in a game.

After listening to the presenter babble on and on about something incomprehensible, you're finally let into the shooting gallery, only to find yourself out of ammo. That's how to make a game feel infinite.

A triumph of narrative and staging -- a forgettable shrug of gameplay.

Not as smart as the first, not as dumb as the second. It's a basic arena FPS with some gimmicky reality phasing stuff, the idea and story for which it stole from the Fringe TV series.

Having seen the previews before release, we all know it could have been so much better. In a few areas, you can't be certain if you've done everything needed, and once you move in a certain direction, you're not allowed re-entry; which can be pretty frustrating, especially if you've no desire to play through again. Story is a bit warped in several aspects. My least favorite of the series, this is still a great game and has decent replay value.

I like Bioshock because it was a psychological-horror game with a lot of emphasis on clearing out levels filled with challenging enemies and booby traps. This one does not have any of those

The final installment of the Bioshock franchise, BS: Infinite took a risk by going above the clouds rather than below the sea. Gorgeous visuals and a smoother gunplay system made for an excellent title that didn't quite capture the wonder of the first title, but still served to make an excellent game.

Bioshock Infinite does what a video game sequel should. Retains the game play we've grown to love about the originals and injecting it into a new world, new characters, new story, and a total reversal of atmosphere.

Very good first person shooter with a unique storyline and mechanics that will remind you of its predecessors but also open some new concepts. No auto-save during levels means you will have to traverse through the entirety of a place, so you can't play it if you are crunched for time.
