Hercules is an action-adventure platformer based on the Disney animation. The game follows the storyline of the animated film. Hercules, son of Zeus, is stripped of godhood and must prove he is a true hero in order to regain his immortality, and rejoin the gods on Mount Olympus. To do that, Hercules must pass several tasks and defeat many villains, and at the end, face Hades, ruler of the dead, who is also responsible for Hercules' losing of his immortality. (wikipedia.org)

Good fun. A basic but very functional platformer that offered good level designs and actual challenge by the end when you are riding the pegasus on to the mount Olympus.

The very first game I ever played, unfortunately it hasn't aged well at all. The music and graphics are nice, but the poor physics, clunky controls, awful hit detection and nonsensical save system ruin it.

A fairly mediocre platformer from it's era but I will say that it is probably the best Disney-licensed platformer since Aladdin.

Still just a gorgeous game, a lot of creative use of animation and PS1 prowess. Kind of hard to plow through, does not always hold your hand with puzzles or balancing issues AFAIR. Great time overall.
