A near-perfect bullet-hell rogue-lite. I was obsessed with the tight gameplay and frustrated by its near impenetrable difficulty although I finally beat the last boss on my 141st run.

Got pretty hooked on this one for a while but tired of it eventually. The things the game was asking me to do to get the real ending held absolutely no interest to me once I got through all the floors and beat the last boss the first time, which was enough for me.

Tight combat and quick, fluid gameplay make this an addicting title in the Rogue-like genre. Not quite as much variety as Issac, but overall the game plays better and that evens it out.

This one didn't mesh with me at all, and it wasn't even its roguelike properties, it was the gameplay itself. Weapons often felt unwieldy and the difficulty never eased players into the game. Meh.

Just short of their three year anniversary and they released the final update. I hadn't played since 2016 so I came back to see all they did. It was good before but a bit too hard and didn't click with me. Now, it's still tough as nails, but they made everything better. Moe fun, moe guns, moe synergies. It's actually brilliant now.

the gameplay is fun, but it has the biggest problem a roguelike can have, which is that some runs are just unplayable. pick it up for free and play until you get bored, which is earlier than it should be.
