Grim Dawn

I absolutely loved Titan Quest, and this really should just be mechanically improved Titan Quest with a far more boring setup and aesthetics. For some reason it just can't hold my interest for the full game length, though. It's competently made, but it never really drives me to stick with it.

I loved Titan Quest, so this game seemed like an improvement in every way, but... I don't know, something about it falls short. Part of it is that it's so aesthetically dark and muddy-looking. Part of it is uninspired enemy design and painfully cliched story material. Part of it is dull farming quests and headache-inducing crafting menus. Around the late game, it just kinda feels like numbers smashing into more numbers.

Nah, this kind of gameplay doesn't do it for me at all.

Very average hack'n'slash.

Worthy enough point and loot RPG, the dark theme is fun. I might check out DLCs someday.

Is a fine one for "Diablo-Like" or "ARPG" people. But actually it's just a slow-pace hack & slash game. Poor lore, poor story. Very brief RPG elements. Cheesable AoE attacks makes the base game so damn easy. And hard mode then becomes "grindy-hard". I played over 60+ hours but couldnt finish cuz I end up get boring. Cool visuals and thematics. But that's it.
