While taking influence from games like Earthbound, it is quite a bit different. There is humour here but then it can be painfully serious and emotional. The premise is interesting and the music is so odd but fitting. Your choices actually matter here because you can literally kill party members or lose limbs, which hurt your stats permanently. LISA really got to me when I played it.

One of the most emotionally taxing games I've ever played, while also being one of the few to outright make me laugh. While the gameplay isn't anything special, the world building is amazing and the plot is one of the best I've ever seen in a video game. This is a game that has no issue killing off party members hap-hazardly, making you hold up for 10 minutes to climb a ladder to get a middle finger as a reward, and making the hero ultimately fail his quest. It's quite unique, if nothing else.

I saved Terry Hintz all the way to the end because I'm not a monster.
