Great beginning and great concept. There are some really good moments in here, but it does gets a little heavy in walking department later on and tests your patience. But the overall story and ending is worth it. Also, great companion and relatable MC.

Too long, but interesting and well made overall. Mixes different kinds of terror.

Like many walking sims with enemies, the enemy encounters are often more annoying than anything else and diminish the experience. Otherwise, some great, tense atmosphere, decent story and intriguing premises and philosophy.

SOMA's fascinating world and story are let down by some painful stealth mechanics and an insistence on bad jump-scares. It is Frictional's best game to date and something that everyone needs to play because when it works, it does something on video games can do.

I couldn't get into it. Stealth-horror is not one of my favorite genres.

Really good. Would be better with invert-x.

Amazing ideas and atmosphere, but some of the character writing could have been better.
