Conflicted. This is probably a better game than Stick of Truth because they're improved it in most ways, especially the combat, but for whatever reason I enjoy Stick of Truth more. I think that while this maintains the South Park charm, it still feels a little bit like more of the same, despite the advancements. Stick of Truth was such a welcome surprise. Some of the same problems exist here though, and I don't think it's quite as funny.

The RPG stuff is totally different and shockingly great -- better than Stick of Truth, even. But the shortcomings of the predecessor are amplified in the sequel because they're still there without any thought to improving them. Specifically, the godawful world map in this game has limited fast travel stations that require you to trek to them, defeating their purpose, and your character walks so fucking slow. Traveling in this game reminded me of my inevitable death.

pretty much everything was better but the puzzles were too annoying. and the maps were too small and combat was too limited. the dlc made combat way better. wish i did them earlier. loved mitch connor returning. kyle's cousin was my fav. loved timmy. loved old mechanic mimsy and nathan getting to be in dlc.

Overall inferior to the classic 'Stick of Truth', the combat system change provides more variety and challenge. It's a shame then that the story is less interesting, the laughs less frequent and even things like fast travel points frustratingly placed. Still well worth playing for fans of the tv show.

Fun and funny, but doesn't really offer anything more than SoT.

New gameplay mechanics are terrific it’s just not as good of a story until the last act where it becomes muuuuah. Bring on the third one.

The game play is better but it doesn't have the moments from the first game, however the reveal of the main bad guy is amazing.
