Well, it is better than the movie....

Good game. I remember playing this at my friends house who's a casual at games. He was like man this is so hard etc. Then I showed him you play a few levels and save on a memory card. Man was he freaking out when he realized what the memory card was for. He thought it was just something like a controller. Then he liked the game.

It's one of the worst PS1 games ever but fuck me if it isn't hilarious. I got more entertainment value out of watching lets plays of this game than I did the actual movie it was based on.

I sunk so much time into this motherfucker, and then one day, dumb ten-year-old me got trapped in Jabba's Rancor pit or something, and then I didn't know how to get out, and I couldn't stop dying, so I saved the game there and then it was ruined forever for me!

This game suffers from terrible camera angles and a tricky control scheme. Although the levels represent the worlds in the film well making it an enjoyable distraction for the small percentage of fans who did enjoy episode one.
