Brood War in many ways is quite broken in terms of mechanics. However, this brokenness is what makes what it adds to the multiplayer legendary.

The perfect example of a game where the whole is greater than the sum. Its imperfections led to novel gameplay and spectator sport opportunities that were not foreseen. Deserves an 80 or 90 for UMS alone.
