Tecmo Bowl

I had my cousin's hand-me-down gameboy and a bunch of games. I played this a ton, even though I really don't like football, and I still remember it all these years later, so it must be really good. EDIT: Just played the NES version and not bad, for a sport I don't really like

Bo Jackson was unstoppable in this. If you took the Raiders and just ran the ball with Bo, you'd have a 99% chance of winning every game, because the programmers made Bo a beast who could knock off any player that tried to tackle him. He was so overpowered that we had to make a house rule that nobody was allowed to take the Raiders.

It's simplistic enough that it actually makes American Football fun for a few moments.
