Tekken 3

This is when Tekken started to mold into something great. In the past, 3D fighters (including past Tekkens) were incredibly clunky and lacked the sort of finesse you saw in 2D fighters. Tekken 3 changed that, by significantly improving the flow of each fight and expanding upon everyone's moveset, adding depth. Even today the game is a blast to go back to, and it set the standard that future 3D fighters (including Tekken) had to live up to.

Ugh. Wayyyyy too slow & clunky compared to other games of the era, like Soul Caliber & Marvel vs Capcom.

almost feels as good as 4. beat em up mode pretty short and kinda hard but fun. cut scenes and characters stepped up

Great social game back in the day. My thumbs hurt just thinking about it.

This game changed the players view on videogames after playing it on a PS1, amazing graphics (at the time 60fps?!), awesome gameplay, awesome iconic songs and the entire roster is ATLEAST interesting. The words "boring" and "Tekken 3" never even met once.

Arguably the pinnacle of the Tekken franchise, only 5 comes close.

Playing this on the big screen in the largest cinema in Denmark ranks as one of my all-time favorite gaming experiences.
