As a remake I do appreciate the additions in the form of adding time trials and consistent features across all titles but I really hate the awkward collision and I'm not a fan of a lot of the game's art design decisions. This game has boring looking models compared to the original and often doesn't understand how the original used camera and framing to amplify the tone of its scenes. It lands on the strength of the original games level design but it's not a great replication of that.

The remastered graphics look incredible, but I found myself getting frustrated with all three and not bothering to finish them.

I think these games were really well done. As for the first Crash that I didn't like because saves were every 4-5 levels, this one had you saving on every level just like the other 2 games because you are playing this on a PS4 where save files are automatic in games. They re made these games really well.

I waited years for this. I told Sony multiple times via Twitter that I would buy a PS4 just for this. Then I bought a PS4. Then they announced this. So, you're all welcome. By the way, there is nothing wrong with the physics and the game is bug-free. It's a remake (not a remaster) of a 20-year-old game, boosted up to 60 frames per second and widened into 16:9. The extremely slight variation in hit detection being the only discernable difference is a crazy compliment for Vicarious Visions.

So well done, I hope this breathes new life into Crash Bandicoot and I hope the same people do this treatment to Spyro and other games of the era

So close to being great, but the broken physics and bugs ruin it.
