Repetitive missions are an allowable side effect to a fun and involved story and numerous side quests you can get lost in. Not the achievement the first was but still a great game.

Great game held back by too many fetch quests and limitations to combat. Worth playing.

Had I played this when it was released I might feel different. These days I'm sick of open world games (still love some, but it's not a selling point anymore) so tripping over repetitive side quests everywhere I go doesn't appeal to me. And being forced to do so many to advance is a pet peeve of mine. But I do like the game still; pretty good story, good graphics, fun (but not fantastic) combat, decent depth. Checks a lot of boxes, does none exceptionally well.

A more solid return to what made the first Dragon Age great... but also a good example on how giving more lengthy game content doesn't in and of itself make a good game. Decent, but once again the characters aren't as engaging as the first Dragon Age.

it's only an 85 if you only do as many side quests as necessary, so barely any. i love the graphics, dialogue wheel, both sera and cass had great romances. cool mechanics like how the party likes you, can leave you, who becomes the priestess thing lol, the judgment+war table was kinda cool and could be great, love the online keep, combat is trash, kinda tedious crafting helped, i love the story and where it's going. my morrigan and my son < 3 and flemeth bruh

EDIT: replayed it with all the DLC, and avoiding being a completionist. It's way better. The number of fetch quests drag down not only the main quest, but a lot of good side quests out there. The last DLC, Trespasser, is a must have; but also The Descent has a great relevance for the lovers of the franchise. I still don't understand why they choose to remove Party AI tactics, and i found the main game too easy: it's a game that should be balanced on tactical view, not on that hack&slash BS.

It's an alright stand-alone game, albeit a certain spec (Enchanter, I think) is so completely broken I was playing the game solo after dismissing my entire party, and winning. Fun, but didn't draw me in enough to feel like I wanted to finish it.

The mechanic where your personality in cutscene changed based on how you acted in game was cool. I forgot most other things about this game and remember the leadership mechanic being too simplified to be interesting. Aggressively mid game

Oi, what a stinker. I wonder why Andromeda got the outraged fan reaction when DA:I was an even worse game on almost every front. If I wanted to do MMO quests, I'd play an MMO. Pretty graphics though.

One of the most boring games that I've ever played. Can only recommend this to someone who thinks that MMO questing and harvesting is the pinnacle of gaming.
