Ties in well to Fury Road, the gameplay is a tiny bit repetitive but the divide between car action and fisticuffs keeps things varied enough. Would've liked more implementation of shooting rather than just a one button shotgun move but eh, you can't ask for too much I guess.

Find me a better game where you gallivant around the outback with a crazy dog food eating hunchback and I'll show you a liar.

Repetitive it is, but with its awesome driving mechanics and Arkham style fighting system it maintains interest.

The game's narrative ambitions (grim tale of dashed hopes amidst the sparse and unbelievably degraded remnants of humanity) and its studio-mandated format (driving holiday spent hoovering up icons on a scenic map) are a real square peg/round hole situation, and it certainly never achieves any kind of gravitas or even basic coherence as an aesthetic experience, but it's lovely to look at and damn fun to play in a slightly mindless way.

I started playing this when I was suffering through a bout of depression and just wanted generic map game stuff to occupy my hands and thoughts but then ended up enjoying it quite a bit. You make a cool car and that's cool

The car sequences in particular is where the game shines, and they never really get too easy until the time you’ve maxed out everything. Ramming up against another car, swerving just in time as a leaping war boy tries to board you, firing your shotgun at such a precise time to strike two cars at once, sending them into the air in brilliant orange and blue explosions in slow motion – all of these things brought the game exceptionally close to the adrenaline rush that Fury Road was.

Atmosphere and sub-par mechanics from other games make for decent entertainment, but when my save game got corrupted after 40 hours I couldn’t bring myself to start over.

This game is just terrible. Basically an open World game that isn't fun. You have little to no ammo, swarm of enemies come at you,, You die pretty quick because of that & the check points are far apart in this game when you do die that you have to restart from the whole mission. RPG elements to upgrade you weapons & cars. The Worst thing a tornado wind comes from no where you can't even see where you are going, you need upgraded armor for that it says. Pure garbage at that point.

It's a pretty standard open-world game a la Far Cry with shockingly similar open-world mechanics. It uses Arkham-combat which is also well-warn territory. The world is nice and still looks good all these years later. The story is very rough and often lacks any kind of consequence. I wish the car sequences were even 1/10th as interesting as the film Fury Road but this game is worth playing if you enjoy these types of games because it is fairly well made.
