Remembered well for a reason; it's one of the iconic arcade games of yesteryear that remains compelling and hard to resist each and every time I see a copy in the wild.

The most interesting thing about this game to me was learning that the ghosts had specific (and very simple) algorithms for the path they follow, allowing intense gamers to create routines for speed runs and such. That level of video gaming is so infinitely beyond my experience that it really fascinates me.

A great game for its time, and quite the cultural phenomenon. Also the source material for the whole "maze chase" genre that would be pretty big for the next few years. Personally, I'd rather play Ms. Pac-Man.

That moment when you figure out the pattern and still shit the bed horribly.

Original Pac-Man is still a lot of fun, and a great time-waster. But, it's not as good as Ms. Pac-Man. And, let's face it, other than killing about 10 minutes in an arcade or pizza parlour or skating rink, why would you want to play Pac-Man anymore?

A lot of fun for a repetitive quarter eating time sink.

Why don't I just save us both some time and just mail all my quarters to you, Namco.

One of the classics of gaming, and a game people continue to play to this day. It's very simple in design, but underneath that is understanding the movements of the ghost which adds depth to what would otherwise be a mundane game to master. It's a game that's full of cool micro-moments that challenge your reflexes and sense of logistics, which is rather impressive given how dated the technology is here.

Legendary game.

One of *the* classic Arcade games of all time. Who honestly hasn't at least seen someone play Pac-Man? There may be modern takes on the franchise that offer more for today's gamers, but the original gameplay is still brilliant in how accessible and addictive it is. Instantly playable but difficult to master.

Actually not too bad once you figure out the ghost patterns aren't random.

I can't imagine enjoying playing this now. It's, at best, a momentary diversion.

More of a significant piece of history than something I would want to go out and play now, but of course I don't hold that against it at all. Likely a 100 for its time.

Simple . . Straightforward. Only gaming gods mastered this game.

Not sure how much I'd really recommend it nowadays as I find it quickly gets repetitive, but it can have a nostalgia-boosted rating for being incredible in my childhood.

This extremely simple game is very addictive.

Good game. used to love this when I was a kid because it was one of the first video games I had played. I just don't like games now that you have to keep playing to get to a certain point and then gameover. This is cool if you are like 10 and competing with your friends in that aspect but not now.
