Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

Careful out there, heard there's dinosaurs in that fog. Ghastly controls.

My rating feels harsh, but I can't justify anything higher. Turok has good ideas but bad execution. It was mediocre at the time, and I can't recommend going back to it now. Maybe try it for a bit but you won't play it through.

I rate the 2015 remaster here! The game was definitely ahead of its time and doesnt really get the credit it deserves! Compared to other titles,Turok always somehow falls into oblivion. Even I have to admit that I have rarely thought about this game for the last 25 years, even though it was my absolute favorite title on the N64. Anyway,no nostalgia here! What can I say, great error-free remaster, I didn't encounter any bugs or anything like that or even technical problems during the entire run

I remember it being a bit boring at the time too. I can only guess it has aged terribly.

To a certain extent, all N64 have aged poorly, none quite so much as Turok. This is almost unplayable in 2019 and only gets a not-terrible score because this was decent for N64 at the time.

TBH I don't really remember it. I think I liked it.

I enjoyed the first few levels of this game. And then I stopped playing forever.
