Until Dawn

I had so much fun with this game. It doesn't take itself seriously and neither should you. It's effectively an interactive shitty teen slasher flick, and if you have any love at all for that genre this should be right up your alley. Unlike many choice based games, a large percentage of your choices really impact the game. All characters can live and die (both outcomes required for a platinum trophy) and so you can really sculpt your own individual experience. Recommended

This was such an engaging game that really kept things going for me as far as attention and interest. I loved how choices can influence relationships.

Is the writing supposed to be bad because it's like horror movies? Are the characters supposed to be as hateable as possible? It blew my mind how much painstaking care they took to make each line of dialogue as repulsive, cringe and nails on a chalkboard as words can possibly convey.

Until Dawn Remake modernizes the cult horror classic with new visuals, camera, and endings. The over-the-shoulder view adds immersion, and the butterfly effect system remains gripping. While graphical updates impress, the absence of the iconic original soundtrack and lack of online co-op are missed opportunities. A must-play for newcomers on PC, but returning players may want to wait for a discount. Still, it’s a chilling, fun ride.

I can't rate both versions differently, so I'm using the same review for both. It's quite a fun game. I'm not huge into horror, but I think the great cast pulled me in more than I would have been otherwise. I'm a sucker for cinematic QTE/choice based games, so this is right up my alley. The original looked great and the remake looked even better. The game does trick you at times into doing things that can get your characters killed, so you will want to replay it.

75 almost wanna lower it cuz the end bs, mainly the dont move thing being too stupid and sensitive. Ye i remember it soon after like a 70 lol. The personality attributes system seemed cool but like it didnt matter lol. Also felt like many choices didnt really matter but still gave diff shit. I like how it mixed diff kinda horror movies

Not a horror fan but this was actually pretty good for being pretty much QTE stuff
