Disco Elysium

this game really spoke to me. because i talk to myself.

Pros: Fascinating usage of skills and experience points. Interesting lead character. Solid atmosphere. Good length. ---------- Cons: Lack of obvious alternative solutions in some cases promotes "save scumming", overwhelming amount of dialogue, abrupt and mediocre ending.

Hands down one of the best games I've ever played. The writing is superb, the character design interesting, the atmosphere and soundtrack compelling. Proof that games ought to be made because of passion, not to make money.

Pinnacle of great weird writing. It's funny, absurd, dystopian, and extremely memorable. It drags a bit at times, and you can feel stuck if you don't know what to do next. But if you play through it, you'll never forget the experience.

Fantastic (but so wordy ... )

A fucking masterpiece

Great game with a thought out story that makes you think and really enjoy the game and it's humor, love this nothing quite like it play it, really unique mechanics

Points docked because the 'drinking, drugs, and cigarettes' button was bugged when I played it. Would have had a less sober playthrough otherwise, oh well. But they've fixed that, since then. So it's in the pantheon, for sure. Probably the coolest video game of all time.

Lame communist game, but it happens to have good writing, good world building, good characters and a good story.

A masterpiece in game development and RPGs. Everyone should give this game an honest go because I seriously doubt there will ever be anything like it again
