The campaign is shorter than you'd remember and has a bit too many experimental vehicle missions. The multiplayer I remember being solid despite introducing power ups like jetpacks which I disliked.

Had a lot of fun with the campaign. I'm still not seeing why the story in these games gets any kind of acclaim; it's about as generic and simplistic as you can get.

Great gameplay , good story , lacking characters , the intro could have used a lot of rearragnging.

Score for campaign only. Multiplayer score 60. Console aim assist is too strong.

Ok game. I beat this. For a Halo game it's one of the better ones I find. however lack of a numbered radar meter and possibly map that doesn't tell you where you need to go to complete said missions or game. I wouldn't replay this.

Fun to play on Legendary solo. I just didn't like the game as much as I liked the other Halo games, though the multiplayer is pretty decent I guess.

I thought this was better than the main title games. There is some great story-telling in Halo games, and this game... well, if you're familiar with the franchise, you pretty much know that things don't end well, and it sucks to watch it happen.

Halo: Reach is a great addition to the Halo franchise... but there is a but. The campaign has a different look, instead focusing on the inevitability of fighting on the losing side of an unwinnable war. Forge mode is great as ever and the multiplayer, despite not being perfect, is still wildly entertaining. However, no matter how much fun I had, a gnawing thought in my head took hold: Halo was already past it's peak. This formula, proven as it was, is maybe one entry from being stale.

This is where Halo started to slip for me. It's still goddamn great, especially the campaign, but the addition of Call of Duty-style upgrades like armor lock combined with unreliable bullets and the DMR, the fucking DMR, made the multiplayer nosedive. The campaign is one of their best, though.
