if you like Pokemon Red but wish it had the word Fire in the title, then do I have the game for you

Good polish of the original games and a good trip to nostalgia town !

I think it's a pretty solid remake, worth playing it instead of the original, if you're a newcomer want to know the wonders of Pokemon. Worth it also if you're a veteran.

Good remake.

The idea of remaking a classic video game would be offensive and crazy in the wrong hands. However, in keeping with Nintendo's simple and effective business strategies. All that needed to happen was to give their best games a graphics update, add a few more items and stats. Nothing else needed to be fixed or changed. These remakes of Red and Blue are just as good as the originals.

While it was undeniably fun to return to the original setting of the series, the diminishing returns effect is in full force here. The new features and inclusion of new Pokemon are still not enough to save this.

FireRed and LeafGreen felt like a step in the right direction with more innovative features and gameplay added to the standard formula. You got to play the 'original', but better, and it felt better. It really did.

Just red/blue but nicer-looking so yeah I played this a whole bunch of times, including on my iPad at one point. Piracy!
