Pokémon Stadium

The mini games alone are worth it. Being able to play pokemon gbc there at faster speed was also a treat.

Not nearly as good as I'd hoped. Not a lot of replayability.

My friend introduced me to this. If you just played with rentals, I be giving this game like a 10. This game is mainly to bring pokemon you caught from the red, blue and yellow games. Gameshark actually is a huge help in preparation with every guy you caught giving them the strongest moves they know and also have them at max stats. Otherwise you'll just not have the guys you want and there will be that 1 friend that has higher stats than you do and win because your stats were to low.

Pokemon Stadium is a fun time for awhile at first. The battles and minigames hold up well enough. Although the game works best when played with friends. Otherwise the appeal with wear off very fast when it becomes clear that there is no customization outside building the team.

This shows how key time is to the formula of the Pokemon combat system. Everything in this game is about 5 seconds longer than it needs to be. It also showcases the poor animation quality and the bad sound design. It doesn't even have all the pokemon at the time. What?

It *sounds* so good. It's so what we need. We need a good rendition of the graphic fights and conflicts from our Game Boy games. But this ends so sound-byte filled and simple that there's nothing to enjoy.

It's mostly a 3D visualizer for the R&B battle system, not much of a game itself. Had some fun minigames tho

I loved Pokémon back in the day but this here isn't really even a "game" per se is it? In retrospect I feel bad making my parents blow fifty bucks on some shit that only exists to represent pixel characters in polygons so you can briefly ooo and aah and move on with your life.

Literally need to grind the hell out of the GBC games to make the most out of these titles. Some amusing mini-games but all this really amounts to is just playing Gen I Pokemon in 3D which is a gimmick that isn't really worth buying this game for.
