Star Wars: Battlefront

Good, but not the sequel.

Pretty entertaining at the time especially playing with a friend.

Not as highly regarded as the sequel, but still pretty good. I thought the map design of the game was better in this game because it had some cool shit like flyable ships in land battles and rancor pits. But I think the sequel wins out because it has more and cooler content (notably space battles and jedi, although the latter is a bit overrated) and is generally a better experience in terms of single player and multiplayer.

[PS2, PC] Battlefront was a little limited in terms of gameplay, but nevertheless managed to be an incredibly fun game. I miss the days of playing split-screen with a friend (or sibling) instead of online with strangers.

cant remember it well enough. i think i thought it needed more to its single player mode or something

A fairly rough-around-the-edges game that is a reskin of Battlefield with half the polish. Still, you can see the dedication to the Star Wars brand and the potential for improvement if a studio were given the proper time and budget.

Star Wars: Battlefront was the first time a video game truly capture what we've all wanted in a Star Wars video game. The battles are enjoyable and action packed. The vehicles and weapons will bring to light the best feelings of nostalgia for the franchise. Not to be outdone, this was and still is the gold standard for adaptations in video game form.
