What started as a great game crashed and burned around the time when everything became immune to the force. Why call it Force Unleashed if you can't fucking unleash it?

It wasn't bad, but not special. I got bored and never finished it. According to a web search, I was pretty close to the ending, but I had no idea because the game lacks any sense of purpose.

I've been wanting to play this game since it came out, when I had no money at the time. Eventually, many years later, I remembered it, added it to my backlog, and just recently purchased it. Unfortunately, I gave up on it after just over an hour. Good concept, decent graphics, and the force abilities feel solid, but too much of the combat and level design is frustrating to enjoy properly. I just wasn't having fun, which sucks, because I wanted to like it.

There are some interesting ideas in this game but it feels like another churn-it-out product from LucasArts that didn't get the time or attention it probably deserved.

Playing in the Star Wars universe with lightsabers and force powers is without question enjoyable. However, underneath all the flash is a standard hack and slash adventure with very little substance to be found.

Aside from most of the first level, becoming the Worst Day-Shift Manager Ever, and a few of the force powers, I hate this game. The number one thing I can't stand is that garbage Mary Sue of a main character (Darth icky is the only name stupid enough) and his story. The entire Star Wars universe is bent out of shape to fit around this idiot. Am I supposed to be happy about this game taking a dump on everything better that came before? NO THANKS. Terrible game, terrible writing.

A game which tried to turn Star Wars into a God of War title. While I appreciated the general idea of throwing TIE fighters into each other with the Force, the game as a whole didn't work that well, or look that good. Combat was a bit clunky at points, and the general story/characters were weak.

Fun game.

I was hyped for this back in the day, but what I got was a shallow game with a boring story. The ability to use force powers to move shit around and fling enemies around is cool at first, but the novelty of it wears thin pretty fast. The combat is extremely shallow and the level design is often more obnoxious and infuriating than anything. Also, Starkiller is probably the lamest Star Wars protag ever. Even lamer than Rey from the newer movies.

[PS3] While the game is a little short, playing as Starkiller, gaining more power as the game progresses is immensely fun. The storyline is a little hit-or-miss, but it fits well enough into the franchise.
