Titanfall 2 will deliver a crafted experience that explores the unique bond between man and machine. Rating based solely on single-player campaign. Mechanically really well-made, though having played lots of the further-refined Apex Legends, I suppose I take this for granted. Otherwise, a decent few hours without particular standouts.

Short & Sweet. Like My Dick. The campaign is the one of the most fun I've played when it comes to shooty shooty games. It probably won't take you more than 6 or 7 hours (unless you're new to the genre...in which case this must be extra amazing) , but god-damn it's fucking fun. It looked great and ran more than smooth on my old ass GTX 970.

went from 75 to 90 territory real fast. Didn't have any expectation. Omega average at the beginning. The game starts to shine starting on the level design of manufacturing place then it gets better. This game made me feel like in an action movie, Disney movie, hero academia. Feels flat at the beginning with just you vs sponge dummies but loves the camaraderie feel later on. Titan gameplay > average fps gameplay.

Campaign: Underwhelming. It had some interesting mechanics in the first half, but it was too swamped down by its CoD-like tendencies to end up as anything more than just "The Iron Giant" in generic action sci-fi movie form.

Titanfall 2 still doesn't fully integrate the Titans but jesus are the controls tight, fast, and fun. The multiplayer kept me engaged for dozens of hours at a time because it is fun to play, pure and simple. It may not set the industry on fire but I wish more games were made like this.

The campaign is excellent mechanically and great fun throughout, despite more than a hint of a plot written by a not-especially-inspired committee. As short and sweet as it was (and I did like the relative compactness of the experience), I would have liked it to lean more on the buddy movie aspect, which was the sole effective emotional note of the story.
