Has nothing to do with the movie and that's ok because it's great. Punishingly difficulty but great.

Fun if you're up for a challenge. You'll be needing those unlimited continues to memorize every inch of levels crafted to sap you of health if you don't execute every jump *just so*.

Core gameplay is good but completely unbalanced.

Despite being too difficult for me to ever get anywhere particularly close to beating it, this is still a fun and decently-aged NES platformer, built largely around an interesting wall-jumping gimmick.

All I remember is Batman punching. But that's fucking awesome, so it gets a pass.

Good game. I would have to play this a lot more to beat this. Unlimited continues in this one as well. I just shut it off when it was impossible. None the less a good batman game if you ever played any batman games.

The difficulty is unearned because of the unevenness of the controls but Batman: The Video Game rises to the level of mediocrity. There were far worse platformers for the NES and this only gets a pass because it's freaking Batman.
