A guessing game for two players. It is played on ruled grids (paper or board) on which the players' fleets of ships (including battleships) are marked. The locations of the fleet are concealed from the other player. Players alternate turns calling "shots" at the other player's ships, and the objective of the game is to destroy the opposing player's fleet.

I fell like this is one of those games that seems like it must have more strategy to it than it does, that you pull out going "Okay, *this* time it's going to be interesting" and it's... I mean, maybe it happens to be that time, and that's what keeps you playing, but most of the time...

A game of guessing. I guess there is a psychological aspect to it. I would rank this higher if it were Battleshots, where you replace the ships with shot glasses filled with beer, or, if you're playing on hardcore, something that will kill you if you finished the game.

Should we call it Bad-ttle Ship? eh? If this tickles your fancy at all look up Captain Sonar. That game takes 8 people instead of 2 but whatever, this is mediocre at best.

It's literally just a guessing game. There's really not much strategy to it beyond ship placements, and even then your success is based on lucky guesses.
