Something about the amount of money that passes through this game makes me feel a little sick

Ey fuck LoL though, it made me so toxic and hateful until Heroes of the Storm made me realize I was a team player and not a solo leech like those who are made to play league.

aram for the chillest experience, and rift for improving your skills on macro and micro. It's addictive, but it's a toxic game. Mute everyone every game to actually enjoy the game. For me, this game has gotten to the point of extremely mixed experience, and simply playing out of habit instead of fun. The best way I can explain is the meme of a the little girl in the classroom thinking how fun it is to play league vs actually playing league and suffering.

Played it for maybe 3 months in 2010. It's alright but not enough to keep me coming back. Plus MOBA communities are a toxic waste barrel so I wouldn't play any of them unless you specifically have people to play with. I did not.

I've spent over 1000 hours on this game and I still occasionally play it today. Compared to Dota 2, the game strips away a lot of mechanics in order to make a more rigid, streamlined experience where plays are more about landing skillshots and abusing the current meta than it is utilizing items, making use of multiple mechanics, or coming up with dynamic comps instead of the forced 1-1-1-2 meta Riot enforces. I still enjoy some aspects of it over Dota, but it's a dumbed down game by comparison.

Salty bunch of idiots, overly glossy graphics and derivative characters. Plus, just not wild about tower defense, at the end of the day.

I attempted this one too, when doing my best to give mobas a shot. For my uninformed tastes it felt like Dota but with a more obnoxious scheme to unlock characters and stuff. I already don't like Dota.

I've spent many hours on this and I can say it is a good game I do not recommend anyone playing. It was fun and was something unique when I first played it, but right now the game is so unenjoyable I'd advise look for other MOBAs. If you decide to play it nontheless, be patiend and try to meet people because despite how toxic its player may be. Learning the game and meeting people is is the biggest strength this game has to offer.

A fairly fun game that is constantly let down by the consistently horrible decisions by Riot Games. I think Riot wasn't even aware of what this game was when they made it and have demonstrated they have no idea how keep a game competitive over time. Still, there is a lot of fun to be had here.

Mechanically competent game that you play with your friends. It is as good as you and your friends are feeling salty that day. The game has an inherent toxicity in its community, but it feels like every game does.
