Resident Evil 5

Only play this with a friend. Did a marathon go at this where by the time Chris was using his watermelon biceps to punch a rock into oblivion inside a volcano didn't know what was what anymore. Resident Evil 4 slowly unraveled into schlock 5 goes from schlock to .. what's schlockier than schlock

This is "The Room" of video games

RE 5 is RE 4 with very little horror. The action has been amped up and the controls have been tweaked. Not always to full effect. The story is interesting and the graphics are appealing. In the end, RE 5 is a fun, albeit disappointing, time.

Trash. Protecting the Ai is the most annoying thing in this game.

Played this a little bit with a friend back in the day, was pissed off by the controls/movement, then felt sad because I wasted what little money I had on this. I mean in a way you could blame this game for the downward spiral into poverty that I faced, if one was so inclined. Which I am because fuck this game and I can't accept responsibility for my actions.

The mechanics of playing the game are solid as all hell but its in service of a pretty subpar experience as far as the story, mercenaries, and multiplayer.

Watered down RE4. Worse in most ways, a lateral move in the other ways

Fun with friends but pretty mediocre on its own.
