A product of its time. The platonic ideal of an indie source-engine game; I will point to this when asked about my thoughts on the 2010s Steam era of single-developer megalomaniac games.

Not a game. Too pretentious.

An interesting idea that unfortunately doesn't fully pay off because it isn't actually as smart as it wants to think it is.

A funny, unique experience that even its own creator will admit isn't the work of genius people say it is. Stanley Parable is good for some laughs and is frequently clever but it never really achieves more than that.

Cute little gimmick, but I don't think there's more than about 20 minutes of interesting material here.

Every "artsy" videogame that the enthusiast press laud reminds me that this medium has a long way to go.

Didn't get the point. Maybe the point is there isn't a point, but that doesn't earn points in my book.

Quite charming in that Douglas Adams type silly and sad narration. Its short but there are options for the type of playthrough you have to an extent. It was fairly original at the time of release.

very amusing and clever. slightly ahead of the curve, before the curve drowned in self-deprecating mediocrity.

There's a lot of clever stuff here, mostly before meta games got oversaturated.
