UNO

UNO

1971
Card game
Family
Players race to empty their hands and catch opposing players with cards left in theirs, which score points. In turns, players attempt to play a card by matching its color, number, or word to the topmost card on the discard pile. If unable to play, players draw a card from the draw pile, and if still unable to play, they pass their turn. Wild and special cards spice things up a bit. (boardgamegeek.com)

I once played Strip UNO with this chick and I saw me some titties. Said chick was my wife and I'd seen her titties several thousand times so it wasn't really a big deal, but still, pretty Chad of me

Spanish teachers love this game because it meets the minimum requirements to be considered 'educational' so they can avoid teaching

I would call it above average in the category of "family games everybody has heard of and has a chance to exist in most homes." If you are looking for a family card game Sushi Go! is what I would recommend over this.

So dull that everyone has to make up their own house rules to make it bearable.

If you play with the rules as written, there is no better 'Stops' game. Play how your family taught you, and it will be an unending chore.

I fucking hate Uno. I was forced to play all the time at my grandmother's house growing up. I'm sure there is a way to bring alcohol or sex into this game so it interests me again, but I haven't seen it.

Excellent game. I play this with friends. We make our own house rules in this because playing to 3 wins is enough. I used to play this up till 500 points that took too long. This way you don't have to start counting or using math when they games are a game win system.

This is good game on a variety of levels. As a family night game, it's an all-around good choice. Back in the day, it worked well for my preschooler as a teaching tool for colors and numbers.
