I've always fucking hated Checkers. And I hate seeing them in the waiting areas of restaurants, especially the massively huge boards played on rugs with dog bowl size pieces.

It's like a dumber version of chess but even then it has a fair amount of depth. Just don't expect there to be huge tournaments for it in the same breath of chess.
