Flight is janky as hell but it's not even the worst of what this game has to offer. It's actually the least janky element. The lesser known non-aerial levels, which comprise half of the game, are even worse. This is a game that fails at everything it tries to do. Legendarily, hilariously bad. The PS1 version might have brought some redemption, but licensing issues prevented it from getting to take-off. At least it didn't crash and burn like Superman 64.

Awful looking, painful to play and a legend in how bad games can really get. Superman is a worthless titles and a big-time blotch on the mostly positive N64 record.

A great example of how not to structure a game. You don't take a powerful character like Superman and whittle him down to a guy who just flies through rings... endlessly.

One of the most hilariously bad games ever, to the degree it's become legendary. Ugly presentation, awful controls, insanely boring gameplay, etc. There's not a single thing this game does well, and that's quite an accomplishment.
