Nothing beats driving down the neon strip at night blasting "I Ran (So Far Away)" on the radio. They perfectly captured the feel of the 80's and the soundtrack is easily the best in the series. Everything that was good about GTA III was improved on in this one. Even beating hookers to death felt better. You haven't really banged a street walker, until you've done it to Hall & Oates' "Out of Touch"

The most fun GTA ever. The '80s is there and you can feel it with every second you play.

Vice City is the best of the franchise. In that it improved everything III had to offer. Which in turn makes this game a greater legend than all of the originals. In style and tone, the game is fun and violent in the best way possible.

Vice City took the revolutionary gameplay introduced in GTA III and slapped a Scarface theme on it. I never played the campaign because I never cared enough to, but I still sunk hours upon hours fucking around in this fun city. It's a testament to how Rockstar understands the fundamentals of a sandbox.

That open world, the character-driven drama and those radio stations.

Played on the Definitive Edition. It still holds up as one of the best games I have ever played. The music, the characters, the missions. This is a must play game. Plat difficulty 5/10.

GTA III may be the grandfather of this series. But The Vice City was "The Godfather". Huge open map, playable version of Scarface ?! Yesss ! Also has the best music in the all series.

All the trademarks that make the series what it is are there, with, as always, the voice acting and characters a standout. Played in 2021 it often feels aged and parts were incredibly frustrating.

One massive flaw: can't swim. Close-second best of the second generation of GTA games.

Handing off to a different team to put together a sequel in a hurry surprisingly produced a game which delivers far more on the original's promise on all counts. It may be the strong aesthetic of the setting (and all that licensed music) that makes it as memorable as it is, but it also features more fun and interesting missions, new vehicle-types to bumble around in (bikes, boats, helicopters, etc.) and an actual plot which nicely fits the 80s setting evoked.

Great sandbox to just fuck around in with cheat codes as a kid. Flying cars were the shit.

Ok so this one actually introduced the map in the pause menu..Which is really important because you got to know where the save points and weapon place. Still garbage though.

GTA VC had me stuck in 6 missions and in this game they tried something diferent, they made the last half of the game kinda not in order to beat, but the way they did it was just wrong, you have to buy some goddamn properties just to get to other missions AND most important thing: NOBODY say this to you in the game, with that in mind you still have to get the money to buy these buildings (which arent cheap), but OST is awesome and story is good even with somewhat shitty and pointless missions.

GTA: VC definitely got a lot of things right: great open world design, cool characters, brilliant voiceover and kickarse soundtrack. Good times and hard to fault.

GTA:VC was an improvement on the ground-breaking GTA3 when it came to the aesthetics and the sprawling layout of Vice City. The story is unoriginal and the side-content fails to deliver anything close to what GTA:San Andreas came to accomplish later, but Vice City is worth playing at least once.

The only Grand Theft Auto game that was worth playing, in my opinion. An massive open world, a lot of interesting side missions, endless violence, all set against the greatest decade. The soundtrack to the game is also fantastic. I bought the New Wave CD and listened to it endlessly. Such great choices in music.

The advent of the open-world gaming was really exciting. Together with the Miami style, this was a solid title.
