I've gotten well over 200 hours logged, by the far the most I've played of any multi-player shooter ever. Incredibly varied and well-balanced gameplay that never gets old.

if my rating was based on originality and impact, it would be 90+

Now normally I'd give one of my favorite games of all time a 90+ rating, if it wasn't for the developers' pure neglect for the many game-breaking issues that have plagued the game for years at this point. Even if we'll never get another major update, having bots flood every server is just unacceptable for a game that not only is advertised as playable, but is actively making Valve tons of cash. A masterpiece ruined by developers or should I say, lack of ones.

Team Fortress 2 is a game that's somewhat at odds between its casual and competitive play; especially given how wonky the balance is for competitive as well as a lot of other wack things that make people not take it seriously, but there's so much this game has to offer I find it hard to not love it. The game has a vast skill ceiling with so many cool interactions between classes and weapon unlocks complete by top notch map design to go with it that prevents it from being a frustrating overload.

Rating is based on how good it was in its prime. High skill ceilings and so many hidden mechanics, awesome map and character designs, hilarious writing, community servers, infinitely moddable interface... this game had it all.

the original hero shooter. I logged hours upon hours in this game as a kid, but its large team size make your contributions feel meaningless and team tactics all but non-existent

Good memories, but doesn't hold up in a post-Mannconomy world. Rest in peace.

At one point this was the greatest team shooter of all time. It got mis-designed into some gross positions by the end but there's still enough to go back for once in a while.

It ended up a bit silly, but this is THE class-based FPS.

I played over 1000 hours of TF2, and it was an all-time favorite for a long time, but it got way too bogged down in cosmetics, kicking off this horrible lootbox trend, and so many other features that detract from all the otherwise great parts of the game

My most played game of all time. There is some magic hear that slowly dwindled with waning dev support and the explosion of crate/key lootbox systems. Oh to be back in the halcyon days of the Gold Rush Update era.

I feel that Overwatch has surpassed it now but damn if this wasn't the best game of its type for a long, long time.

2855 hours. 119 full days. Playing medic on competitive teams was pretty much my life for a while.
