my cousin had this and I played it all the time. it's not a great game, but it is a great proof of concept for the sequel we never got.

Pokemon Snap is neat despite how short it is. The gimmick is interesting and interacting with the environment is fun, but the content in this game is so limited that you won't get much out of the concept. Not to mention the game limits the ways you can take a picture of a Pokemon. A sequel to this game that expands upon photography could be really fun, but alas we don't always get what we want.

There were kiosks at almost every Blockbuster to print out your photos and then yadda yadda yadda Blockbuster is bankrupt.

I found this an enjoyable diversion for the hour or so it will take you to really see all there is to see. Never felt the slightest need to pull it out again. I felt kind of bad that my parents wasted fifty bucks or whatever on it back in 1999 to be honest; I remember pretending I liked it more than I did and got more playtime out of it than I really did.

It wasn't the 3D Pokemon game everyone wanted in the 90s, but it was still fun in its own right. It's a rail shooter, except you're shooting pictures. I don't think a sequel would have gone amiss, if it just expanded on the game a little more, not being so short.

I actually really liked this concept but I felt it was far too limited. You're on a track so you have little freedom. The pokemon you get aren't diverse enough to make it more immersive. I think it you had a game of Pokemon where this was part of the game but not all of it (maybe to make money or win some pokemon) would make it better.

This is, at best, a platform to establish a good engine and make a better sequel. That sequel never came so it shows just how bad this was.

There needs to be more games like this, pokemon weren't meant to fight they were meant to be photographed haha. I don't know what it is about this game but I never fail to spend an afternoon chasing highscores if i is put in front of me.

Aside from the gameboy titles, this was the most unique and enjoyable of the franchise. Calm, quiet, quirky, and beautiful to look at. The replay value may diminish after a few playthroughs, but a long enough wait will make this photo game just as enjoyable as it was nearly 20 years ago.

Great idea, but becomes repetitive quickly.
